However, Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin then put on a crucial 92-run partnership for the sixth wicket. Jadeja scored a fighting 70, while Ashwin made a patient 42.
The partnership brought India back into the game, and they were in with a chance of winning when Jadeja was dismissed in the 48th over. However, Ashwin was unable to see India home, and he was dismissed in the final over with India still needing 11 runs to win.
In the end, India fell short by 4 runs, and Bangladesh recorded a famous victory.

For India, the defeat is a setback, but they will still be confident of reaching the semi-finals. They will face England in their next match, and they will be looking to bounce back from this defeat with a strong performance.
